Champs Elysees Paris

La ville d’amour… L’amour pour le tour d’Eiffel, l’Arc de Triomphe, Le Louvre et maintenant: l’amour pour les clubes fantastique!!
Oui oui Messieurs et Mesdames, it’s time again. Set your watches for another unbelievable Xperience in one of the world’s most romantic cities: Paris. Another Friday, the perfect day to show Paris one of our greatest talents: Rock them bars ;-) . Paris is not only worth visiting by night but also during the daytime so for once get out of your beds early in order to take that early flight to Charles de Gaulle airport. Start your day with the standard tourist sightseeing so you that you can always tell your family back home what kind of great sights you have seen. Of course we know better, you’re not only here for the sights…ready? go!

Day 1

After an afternoon of sightseeing it is time for that well-deserved cocktail that you have been waiting for all day! The first venue that we are visiting is a famous one right away! The Hemingway Bar (15, Place Vendôme) at the renowned Ritz Hotel. This venue has been selected multiple times as the world’s best bar!  The Hemingway Bar is named after Nobel Prize winner Ernest Hemingway, a writer in the first half of the 20st century who loved to have a glass of fine whiskey in Paris. Today, this bar is the decor for a truly unforgettable Xperience. Royal interior and royal service that is only meant for the privileged. Top shelf drinks and swanky cocktails will make you feel like a celebrity in this elegant yet electric atmosphere. As might have guessed…this place is not the cheapest we have visited (cocktails of €23 are no exception) :P but it is worth every penny! The Hemingway Bar is one of the cocktail bars that every hospitality lover must have visited…in one word: Impressive.

After this royal experience we are visiting the Buddha Bar HQ (8 Bis, Rue boissy d’anglas)!.  For years The Buddha Bar has been an icon in Paris’ nightlife. The dominating Buddha overlooking the trendy visitors became a trademark for a thrilling Xperience worldwide.  After the success of Paris, the concept has been introduced worldwide in cities like Dubai and New York. Start your Buddha Xperience on the second floor and enjoy one of the great blends shaken by the flair bartenders while you overlook the restaurant from the balcony. After a couple of drinks, Hemingwaylet go down to the restaurant on the first floor. Not only the food and drinks are exceptional but also the musi is phenomenal. If you were already familiar with the Buddha Bar cd’s…this is where it all started!! Kick ass! Anyway…time flies when you’re having fun, we have to move on if we want to see more of this brilliant city.

Next stop: Le Baron (6, Avenue marceau). Club Le Baron is located in an old brothel. The interior has elements that still give this “brothel-like” atmosphere (in a positive way). The unique interior design and superb atmosphere are unheard-of.  This venue hosts a select group of people, not more than 200 individuals looking for that splendid night out. Of course it is not easy to get in but once you manage to be on the guest list you will have no regrets! This fantastic club would be the final stop for many, though it could not fulfill our clubbing needs yet, which is why we move on to the final venue of the night:

The VIP-room…YEAH BABY!! This is the venue that every lame-brain like yourself wants to end up in: The one and only VIP-room Paris (188, Rue de rivoli)! The VIP-room is a brand, a brilliant club, an icon! VIP-room is well known for it’s close relationship with the world’s international stage. Often you will find performances celebs like Snoop Dogg and the Black eyed peas in this venue. The interior is smooth with a wink to the disco-era of the 80′s. Not only is this club located in Paris, it has another location in luxurious  st. Tropez, Southern France. Anyway, we’re in Paris and we are wasted haha. VIP room offers a great mixture of dance and hiphop music smoothly mixed together by famous DJ’s. Why are we here? This club has style, this club has allure, it is decadent shit in the heart of Paris. This is the charm of Paris! 4.30am, we are done for today if you want to keep on partying, have fun! We’ll see you back tomorrow!

Day 2

ParisWake up, shower, breakfast, sightseeing…the usual. We did it already so many times. What’s on today’s hospitality agenda? Haha, you’ll see! By the way, before we forget, if you love carpaccio just as much as we do then this restaurant is one not to miss: Bistro Romain (26, Avenue Champs Elysées)! Do not expect funky interior, a Michelin-star-rated menu or anything else mind-blowing.  The only thing that we are here for is carpaccio! Love it! This is carpaccio as carpaccio should be (olive oil, pepper, Parmesan cheese and rucola). What’s so special about it? Well, for a bargain you may order as much carpaccio as you want. That’s right…AS CARPACCIO MUCH AS YOU WANT :D ! Make sure not to overdo it, you might break up with eternal love after 3-4 plates. Now, enough about carpaccio.

Tonight, have dinner at Barrio Latino (46, Rue du faubourg, Saint-antoine). Barrio Latino is another phenomenal piece of Raymond Visan who is also the master mind behind the Buddha Bar. We can honestly name Mr. Visan the king of innovative hospitality concepts. A bar like the Buddha Bar may have been copy-pasted over the years to many different locations, the Buddha Bar opened it’s doors in Paris already back in 1996. Now that’s vision! Now let’s see what Barrio Latino is all about. The name Barrio Latino might make you think of a shabby Latin bar but once inside you will be convinced that his is not the case at all. The DJ spins a pleasant combination of Latin sounds and funk which makes it hard to stand still once inside. Not only the music but also the exceptional interior design is one of the reasons that we recommend you to take a look inside. Barrio Latino consists of 4 (!) floors, all connected by a gigantic staircase that we have not even in seen in Chateau Chambord. What a great Xperience just to watch those beautiful people descent the staircase. Yeees! Start your evening by watching those folks we just mentioned and a Corona beer at the bar until you’re table is ready for dinner. While having dinner the venue fills up with more visitors and by the time that you are finished Barrio Latino is ready for that next enchanting party! Finish your dinner, have a liquor or French cognac while the dinner area is transformed to a dance floor where you can finally show your moves to those hombres and senoritas. When you feel the vibe it is time to move!

Take a taxi or limo and ask the driver to take you to World Place (32, Rue de marbeuf) ASAP!! This club is owned by three celebrities, among whom Johnny Depp. This is that typical “see and to be seen”club with white accents and colorful lighting. The owners of the venue knew about style: the impressive interior baffled us from the moment we entered. World Place is perfect for another night of clubbing. While you might expect a cold atmosphere it is just the opposite: the staff is friendly and professional which makes the hip atmosphere very pleasant. The guests visit World Place for one reason only: having a great night out in one of the famous and historical cities in the world: Paris! So dress to impress, order a bottle of your favorite liquor or champagne at one of the VIP tables and shake-your-bronzed-and-blingin’-booty to the beats bashed out by the very ultimate in sound systems. Voila!
Wake up the next day? Maybe for once it is time to relax and enjoy the beauty of Paris. A metropolis that does not require you to rush, where the nightlife is close to perfection and the coffee is worth enjoying on one of those many typically French terraces.  Another of those weekends you will never forget. Paris, la ville d’amour…
